I’ve begun a new project on Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. My fascination with the park began when I was much younger, to a kid it’s the most wonderful place in the world. One of my earliest memories is my dad taking me to see the buffalo there. The park itself has a long storied history that I’m looking forward to researching and retelling.

Pinnacles with Ras Trent
Camille and I took a trip to Pinnacles today, east of Salinas Valley the Pinnacles are situated smack dab on the San Andreas fault and are home to several caves, boulders, waterfalls and seasonally hibernating bats which meant most of the caves were closed unfortunately. It was still super fun and we had the whole park to ourselves, well actually there was one other guy that looked like Ras Trent he was keepin it real with dreadlocks and a dslr. We had several awkward run ins with this fellow in tight caves and he kept showing signs of frustration when we would walk into his perfectly framed waterfall shot. Sorry Jah!
Winter Storms and Cows that Breach
My favorite time of year for sure, I love seeing all that green coming down from alaska on the radar. Got woken up by thunder at 6:00 am so we moved to outside and got treated to a pretty epic lightning show. I’ll post some storm pics soon, for now here’s a new shot I took of Camille and following that is something that just made me feel happy.

Welcome! I just bought this new computer and decided to make a blog so welcome to the new home of Brice Matson’s maniacal self interest. Check back often if you dare.
